Tinder review — Double Date, Events and the turnaround

Tinder review for 2026 — the biggest pool, the new Double Date and Events features, Gold and Platinum pricing, and whether it's still worth using.

Two people laughing together outdoors

Verdict: Still the biggest pool almost everywhere, and finally moving offline with Double Date and Events. But the core experience — swipe, match, chat, hope — is the one most people say they're tired of.

What's new

  • Double Date (June 2025): pair up with up to three friends and match with other pairs. Women were three times more likely to like a pair than a single profile.
  • Events (March 2026): curated local events you can mark yourself interested in (photo verification required). It started in Los Angeles and was set to reach 26 cities by the end of September 2026.
  • Modes (2025): For You, Double Date and College.

Price

Free; Gold ≈ $40 and Platinum ≈ $50 a month in the US — Tinder prices vary by age and country.

The numbers

Tinder revenue fell 5% in 2025; daily active users were still down 4% year on year in Q2 2026, though that was its best trend in ten quarters.

Strengths and weaknesses
